I went into Hemline (in Houston) to check out their after thanksgiving sale, and saw this fabulous coat (ML calls is maj like Rachel Zoe) and there was just something about it. Naturally I spent about 10 minutes standing in front of the mirror starring at it sending pictures to people asking if it's too much. I decided I would keep walking around the Village and it if stuck with me I would go back. So I continued onto Gap and the second I entered through the doors I turned around (think the man who greeted me was offended) and went back to Hemline I had to have it.
It is sooo soft, all day people were petting me and calling me Carrie Bradshaw. I loved it I won't lie. Now that I have worn it...I was nervous and not quite sure how I wanted to style it...I cannot wait to throw it over a little black cocktail dress. For yesterday though I swapped by converse for heels and dainty necklace for a statement one to add even more oomph to this outfit for the night out. I wear a lot of "day timy" things at night and am going to start trying to a lot more double outfit posts on how I transition pieces from day to night.
