Outfit Post: Canadian Cashmere Outfit Post: Canadian Cashmere There was a brief moment of sunshine filtering through the slats of the window blinds. I seized the opportunity, grabbed the camera and tripod and ran out of the house. Bright sunshine, unfiltered by cloud, bled on my face and shoulders. It was a cold shot of sun- not having enough time to warm the walls, rocks or walks of my neighborhood. But the bright light seemed a good match for the pale sky blue  coat I was wearing- an icy pastel of cashmere blazer that seems something a beautiful  blonde Swedish woman would wear for a winter outing.

Trail Blazer: Stepping out in a chic lapelless cashmere blazer from Louben.

The coat is in mint condition- a garment of quiet beauty. It's soft as a whisper in a library, a blend of cashmere, wool and polyester. It is from Louben, an 65 year old Canadian company, that has an uncanny way of creating classic killer blazers. Perfect for soaking up some winter sun.  Also perfect, are my second pair of Sofft shoes, another thrifted find from Value Village. This time they are a comfortable pair of black leather pumps. I feel like such a grown up wearing pumps and a blazer. You might almost take me for a +40 year old fashionista!
