You may remember last year I took part in Outfit August which was organised by the awesome Leah from Just Me Leah and I am pleased to say that she has decided to do it again this year and I have jumped on board!
I loved taking part last year and I shall try my upmost to post as frequently as I can (I can't guarantee a daily outfit post due to work commitments but I shall try). I look forward to rummaging through my wardrobe to see what I can put together to keep you all entertained throughout the month!
So for day one I want to share with you a long overdue outfit which I wore for the evening part of Style XL. It was a last minute choice and was all purchased in the New Look sale a few days prior to the event!!! In total the whole outfit (including jewellery) cost £25!!!
I had been looking at this dress online when it was full price so I couldn't believe my luck when I spotted it on the sail rale in my size for £6! It was so comfortable to wear and amazingly no gaping where it buttons up. The bag was reduced to £6.50 and then I spotted the shoes reduced to £11, the final touch was a necklace for £2 and I was done.
I have since worn this dress to work and received loads of compliments so for £6 it was well worth it! The shoes are amazingly comfortable thanks to the springy jelly soles so I was able to dance and wander around in comfort.
