Time for day two of Outfit August and the photos were quickly snapped in between rain showers- so much for the summertime!
There has been a lot of chatter in the plus size world about the brand Monki and the fact that some of their oversized items are generous in fit- enough so that I have seen bloggers upto size 28 wearing some of their items. It should be noted that Monki are not a plus size brand and are not advertised as plus size but due to the way the clothes are cut some pieces in the largest size they do (normally a size L) fit those of us in the plus size range.
I spotted this on the Monki website in their sale section reduced from £35 to £15 and after deliberating over the £6 delivery charge (I hate delivery charges) I decided the dress was too good to pass on and bought it.
The first thing I found out when the dress arrived was pockets- yes it has pockets and you must all know by now how happy that makes me!! It is also very generous in size even across my boobs the only slightly tight parts are the sleeves as there is no stretch but I still have enough room.
Now I also admit that I am often the first to moan about cold shoulders as they seem to be everywhere but for this dress I can make an exception as I love it so much!
I'm so glad I have discovered Monki and all we need now is for them to extend their sizing range so more people can be included.
