On November 14, three years ago, we celebrated two happy occasions: our wedding, and my Dad’s birthday. Yup, that’s why we call it a birthiversary. With every birthiversary also comes the celebration of this website, whollyKao.com, which originated as our wedding website (I turned into my personal blog after we got married).
I’m still thankful that my Dad was willing to spend his birthday in a tux, eating someone else’s wedding cake. We did get him his own birthday cake, though!
I’m amazed how time has flown by since that happy day. It’s been a delight and privilege to be married to Jeff. We’ve had our ups and downs, but at the end of the day we’re glad to be together. I guess years of long distance dating has helped us appreciate being close!
So, here’s to many more birthiversaries! Cheers to Jeff for loving my quirks and for putting up with my popcorn-burning tendencies.
And I wish my dad a very Happy Birthday!
