Oscars 2013 Predictions

Get your popcorn ready and put your butt on the couch: we’re just hours away from the 2013 Oscars!

The 85th annual Academy Awards get underway in Hollywood this evening, and the final results are anyone’s guess. Will Ben Affleck‘s “Argo” continue its awards-season winning streak into Oscar night, or will a certain history-making world-leader pull an upset? Can anybody stop Daniel Day-Lewis from taking home a record-breaking third Best Actor trophy? (A Daniel Day-Lewis clone does not count.) Most importantly, will Seth MacFarlane pull off what other recent Oscar hosts could not — a legitimately entertaining evening of television?

That last question aside, let’s take a look at all of the major nominees. Here are my predictions for the 2013 Academy Awards.
