Nick Radford was in the woods shooting some photographs when he came across a baby squirrel. He was clinging to his lifeless mother, who appeared to have been struck by a car. The poor little thing was hypothermic, and Nick knew he wouldn’t survive on his own. e carefully scooped him up and brought him home. He named the baby Apple Moonbeam and introduced him to his two dogs, Maverick and Scout, who took him in like one of their own.
