Swedish singer Orlando Hotopf's debut single Confessions as a solo artist is a sad love song of sorts, wrapped in a classic late Eighties pop mode. At 28 he is already been a member of a few bands and he has been making a living as a session musician. Aided by Anton Hedlund (lead guitar), Eric Olsson (drums) and Freyr Flodgren (bass) he has been busy writing the material for his first album. The single is an indication of what's in store: left of center mainstream pop that will appeal to casual and serious listeners.
