Oreos in a rich chocolate brownie is like talking a bite of heaven!
A chocolate brownie is a flat, baked dessert square that was created in the US. It is a cross between a cake and a soft cookie in texture.
Brownies are typically eaten and often accompanied by milk or coffee. They are sometimes served warm with ice cream, topped with whipped cream, or sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Ingredients
80g Melted butter
100g Grated chocolate
3 Eggs
1/2 Tsp Vanilla
85g Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp Flour
1 Tbsp Cocoa
Pinch of Salt
100g Oreos ( 1/3 on top and 2/3 in the batter)
Add butter and chocolate to a microwave proof bowl.
Melt in the microwave 20 seconds at a time until completely melted.
Add eggs, vanilla, brown sugar, flour, salt and cocoa to the chocolate.
Using spoon and not a mixture beat quickly until the batter has the silky sheen on the top.
Break 2/3 the Oreos in half and quarters and stir into the batter.
Pour the batter into a greased baking tin and sprinkle the remaining broken Oreos over the top of the brownie.
Bake in the oven at 180c for 25-30 minutes until just baked, where the top has the cracks and a slight jiggle to the brownie still.
Allow to cool for a few minutes and take out of the baking it.
Slice into smaller pieces about 16 squares.
