I'm still recovering from my trip to Orange County from the past couple of weeks--so much work to be done! While I was there, I was lucky to give a few workshops and got to see old friends and make new ones. Fawn Christiansen, the wonderful photographer of Sequins and Candy snapped some great shots at the Newport Beach workshop at the studio of Timree Gold. Some dear old friends came to my class like Nicole Davis (who does wonderful interiors!) and Ally Shupe, came to my class. I hadn't seen Nicole in like 15+ years! agh! But thanks to the wonders of the Internet, we've been able to keep in touch.
I also had the opportunity to do a paper flower event at the brand new Land of Nod store at South Coast Plaza while I was there and we created some fun Mexican tissue paper flowers. What a good time! There were about 30-40 kids there. Cuh-razy.
FINALLY, we had a great time at the San Clemente workshop at the San Clemente Art Supply store. I had some new and old friends come. Thanks ladies for coming! So wonderful to meet you all!
