The following comments were submitted to the Bee by Littlerock Town Councilman Carl Iannalfo, a resident of Littlerock for 20 years:
Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey
Our newly elected District Attorney has yet to reply to this writer and set up a meeting to answer my question (22 November 2013) as to why she is letting the Deputy D.A., Patrick D. Campbell, convert Misdemeanor land use issues to Criminal Prosecutions at the Antonovich Revenue Center (aka Antonovich Courthouse).
Apparently, her concerns were getting us to support her candidacy and then ignoring us thereafter.
As a member of the Littlerock Town Council I personally wrote to our newly elected District Attorney, Jackie Lacey, on 22 November 2013 asking her to honor her pledge to meet with Community Members regarding the abuses of prosecutor Patrick David Campbell as related to land use here in the A.V. and in particular, Littlerock.
During a meet and greet at the Chimbole Center in Palmdale while running for office, we were told that an open door policy would provide us an opportunity to discuss Civil issues being converted to Criminal actions by the Deputy D.A. Campbell.
Apparently this was just another broken promise by an official to gain support for their candidacy. As of today, the abuses by Code Enforcement are continuing and N.A.T. (Nuisance Abatement Team) armed bullies are now escalating their efforts to intimidate property owners.
So much for promises by Office Holders after they are promoted. Next stop, The Federal Courts for redress?
