OOTD|| Primark Mint Shift Dress

By K @stylesocoy
I picked this dress up last month and, as usual, because it's short I've struggled to find an occasion to wear it.
I bought it originally, thinking it would be a good dress to wear to work during the warmer months, but it's a tad too see through and a little to sort to wear to the office...Actually it's a bit to short to wear on it's own at all, so for me it's no longer a dress, but a tunic for layering over leggings and thick tights!
I completely love the fit of this dress, the darting down the front helps keep it looking really slimline and fitted and the concealed zip down the back really finishes off the tailored feel. The pastel mint color and the fun crochet collar, adds a young and fresh spin to a classic item.
It's really worth keeping your eyes open for pieces with detailing like the collar on this dress, because it really helps when you want to style it up...I can imagine I'll be wearing this dress with a thin knit thrown over it, with the collar peeping out, a skirt and top out of the same piece....Amazing!!!!

I don't know if you can see from the pics, but I totally ruined my shoes in the rain. Don't think they'll be coming clean!
Oh and I finished the Hunger Games trilogy today. I completely loved the story and it's one of those books that I think I'll definitely revisit. Any recommendation on what I should read next? I've got the first 2 books in the Game of Thrones series, but I don't really want to jump straight into reading another series of books right away.
