Apologies for the lack of full body photograph, Tuesdays it seems is the day all 6 of my flat mates are in university all day! So I couldn't get anyone to snap a quick picture for me before we left the flat..
Instead I had to rely on my 'awesome' shitberry camera skills & take a photo of just the clothing laid out in my room...
& the disaster that followed earlier this morning!
I've never been one for OOTDing simply because I haven't had a decent camera for a year - I know its shameful- But seriously guys, I'm a camera murderer!
I literally repel technology, & as a result never manage to keep a camera in good working order for more than 6 months.
- No wait, I think my record is 8 months!
Anyways, I decided on wearing my trusty black maxi skirt (2 years old) teamed with my leopard print boots & a newer addition to my wardrobe, my leopard print collar woolen top.
Maxi skirt - New look £15 (2 years old)
Leopard print collar tshirt - River Island £30
Leopard Print boots - Topshop £40 (1 year old)
I posted today about my Primark haul from earlier this month in which I promised to show you guys my brand new winter rose printed umbrella that I had yet to use.. Well I'd love to share with you the prettiness of the print..
But I can't as the piece of crap brolly broke within a literal 200m walk through part of uni campus!!!! I guess it was expected though, Primark don't have a great success rate with brollys in my books.
Well, safe to say i got a little wet which meant my gorgeous maxi began sticking to my legs, my boots (which have the feel of short faux fur) were water logged and squeaky & my tshirt resembled something from a Hooters wet tshirt contest
Even my trusty leather jacket gave up hope & leaked!!
So I guess the moral of this story is..
"If living in Huddersfield (the wettest and windiest place on earth) never buy a brolly from Primark & always, always, dress for a hurricane!"
Why do I even bother straightening my hair?!
Looks like I need to dig out my festival wellies & waterproof mac!
Have you had any OOTD disasters lately?
