Aussie Facts: A “boot” is a car trunk, a “trolly” is a grocery kart, “thongs” are flip-flops, and bed linen is called “Manchester”
I heard about Osama Bin Laden. A lot of years have gone by. Big news. It has overtaken the wedding and is filling the news channels here. Don’t let fear of what is to come fill your heart. Live every day like it is your last. Tomorrow will work itself out.
Update: I’m leaving Brisbane and the surrounding area. I have been here for forty-seven days. Western Australia is supposedly a different world. Perhaps it is, but considering I have been in another world for the past forty-seven days perhaps it seems relative. I have a lot of travelling ahead of me. Plane, train, and automobile (bus). Since I do not know if I will have access to the internet I do not know when I will be able to write another entry, but I’m sure that when I do I will have plenty to say.
