Online Shopping Guide For Canadians

best online shopping sites
My top online shopping destinations. Especially if you're Canadian eh.

Last week in this post I mentioned that I was thinking of taking a trip over the boarder for some designer deals, and while that is always a fun excuse for a road trip if you're feeling less inclined to leave your sofa for your fashion fix than online shopping is my obvious recommendation.

I used to complain quite often that living in Canada deprived me of accessing the greatest designer fashions, but so much has changed in recent years.

Just in case you haven't been keeping up with the internet shopping craze today I am sharing my top 5 shopping sites especially suitable for fashionable Canadians.
First on my list has to be The September. As I mentioned
previously in this post this online shoe destination ships free to Canadians, (literally within hours if you live in Toronto), provides great customer service features such as on demand chat, free returns and sizing help. Their packaging is hands down the swankiest I have ever seen. Each shoe box is wrapped in beautiful paper, tied with a bow and includes a cute thank you card. They also happen to be celebrating their 1 year anniversary and are offering $100 of for the entire month of September. Check them out if you're into Kate Spade, Valentino, Cole Haan, L.K Bennett, Marc By Marc Jacobs and more. Oh and they also have great sales from time to time so make sure to sign up for email alerts.

$100 off shoesAnother Canadian site that should be saved to everyone's favorite bar is  eLUXE. This site has everything from handbags, to jewelry and belts plus the current seasons hottest clothing trends from a wide range of designers. DVF, Clover Canyon,  Equipment, J Brand, M Missoni, and Tibi can all be found here. Whats really different about eLUXE is their influcencers collaborations, named "Connected Collections", where they team up with some of the worlds biggest fashion bloggers. Some from the past collections, and currently still available HERE include Song of Style, Karla's Closet, Lovely Pepa, Glitter Guide and more. Coming soon, their latest collection with Canadian girl Shay Mitchell & Michaela Blane.
eluxe websiteFar Fetch is the best way to feel like you're shopping in Rome, Paris or London while you're actually sitting on your sofa. Save the money you would spend on air fare on something from their site, they ship straight from boutiques around the world so those "cant find this in Toronto" items can finally be yours. Also its a great way to discover new designers. Start shopping by choosing from boutique location, Europe, North American, South America or by designer. There are way too many to list but Moschino, Kenzo, Chloe and Rick Ownes are all here.
far fetch online shoppingNet-A-Porter is a top designer extravaganza, with new stock every Monday, Wednesday and Friday even if you're not buying its a glorious place to online window shop. Usually everything is quite costly, its all designer stuff after all, BUT their twice yearly sales literally keep me up at night . The next one should begin November and last till early January. Expect up to 80% off. Yes I said 80% off. You wont find deals like this in Canada, trust me I have searched and searched. Also in 2014 they have began offering the Target collaborations on their site. Since Canadians cant shop these collections online through the Target website this is a God send. We can now shop them in our pj's without having to line up at 4 AM only to get trampled by greedy losers from Toronto who hoard all the most popular items and then sell them on eBay.....so ya, that's how I feel about that.
net a porterThe Outnet is Net-A-Porter's little half price sister. If you think that outlets = this is where designer stuff comes to die than you are terribly wrong. Everything on this site dates back to about one season ago. So unless you're Anna Wintour there is no excuse why you shouldn't find some amazing items, at amazing prices. I have scored Moschino and Missoni and Marc Jacbos from this site. All at an incredibly crazy low fraction of the price. Like I'm talking Moschino blazer for $90 kinda price. You don't find deals like this on our side of the boarder. We are deprived of the designer warehouses Americans have and thus our ability to score major sale items is hampered. It is a serious issue OK!

So there you have it. My top picks. Do you have any of your own?
