After days of surfing the Internet, I finally found a free on-line reservation software service. You'll find it under the BOOK PROMO tab. Tweaking it to reserve dates for author promotional activities turned out to be a bit of a challenge. Rather than booking rooms or events, I'm booking books!Nevertheless, if I did the setup right, it should work. I've run it through a few test bookings. There are two options: (1) Book Promotion and (2) Guest Blogger Posts. Because I'm beginning this blog as a one-girl show and live a life of work, plus writing, I've limited the posts to three days a week: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. There is no charge to be on my blog. My only requirement is that you place a link back to my blog on your website/blog. You're free to take the badge off to the right or just use a written link.
It's my ultimate hope to serve as a Tour Host in the months ahead, but I need more of an audience before touring blogs will add me to their lists.
In any event, I'm happy to report that I have five authors in the wings already for promotion and blogging. Don't forget if you'd like to be a reviewer in the days ahead, I'm happy to talk to you about that as well. I'll have to come up with some cute rating systems, since everyone has different types. I've seen cats, cupcakes, coffee cups, stars, etc. My insane brain already has bizarre ideas. If you have one, shoot me an email.
