One OK Rock Light Up Toronto’s Rebel with Stand Atlantic and Waterparks

Japan's One OK Rock tore the roof off Toronto's Rebel Thursday night, and the high energy stadium rock show kept the crowd rocking out the entire night. One of Japan's largest bands took to the small stage with style. The band plays to sold-out stadiums back in Japan, and they brought that same energy out with them here.

The night started off with Stand Atlantic getting the crowd energized and excited. The Australian band is fresh of a tour with Neck Deep, and it shows. Their stage presence was outstanding. It was hard not to move around with them.

The Texas band Waterparks took to the stage after and blew everyone away. Right from the first song, the crowd was going insane. They definitely gained a few new fans!

Then it was time for One OK Rock, and wow. The energy in the room was electric. A sold out Rebel sang every single word right back to frontman Takahiro Moriuchi. As the night went on the crowd got even more into it, their voices got louder, and they moved around with every song. Chanting and screaming at every possible chance. You could tell One Ok Rock knows how to put on a show.

It's hard to understand how One OK Rock isn't selling out stadiums here like they do back home, but I'm sure they will get to that point. With the talent they have, it won't be too long. The tour heads up to Montreal next, but be sure to catch One Ok Rock the next time they come through town.

You can find me at their next show!
