Police and emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle auto accident at the intersection of Silver Springs and William in Cape Girardeau this morning. A SUV and another vehicle crashed causing the SUV to land on its roof. Police say that the SUV was traveling westbound on William and the other vehicle was traveling eastbound on William when they collided.
One person in the SUV was cut out of the vehicle and taken by ambulance to the hospital with injuries to their neck and arm. Police are still investigating as to the causes and full extent of injuries.
