On an on Release Debut Single, Planning Big Things [free Mp3]

When Scattered Trees disbanded just a few weeks before their scheduled studio time with Dave Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Los Campesinos!), the three remaining members threw together some songs and went into the studio to create Give In, ON AN ON‘s (@itsonanon) debut LP. The lead single off the record, “Ghosts”, is a masterpiece. While the production on “Ghosts” is nothing if not on point, the song really comes to life with Nate Eiesland’s lush, unassuming vocals. The track’s candidness allows for a sense of sincerity rarely associated with such young acts. Overall, Give In features expansive, tactfully produced songs with refreshing songwriting.
