Just as 2017 arrived in a flash, it's about to end... Now is as good a time as any to be reminded that it's important to be grateful and cherish every day because once it's over, it's gone. Maybe it's just me but somehow at times 2017 felt like it dragged on as much as it flew by. Personally this past year was all about choosing quality over quantity and that meant making better choices. I'm happy to say that this was a goal that I managed to see through and will continue as it has been fulfilling and led to a better quality of life. Yes it possible to live better with less and saving money is a major benefit that goes along with it! Self care continued to be a priority and it has been a necessity in dealing with some personal issues as well as just coping with everything happening in the US and the world these days. Highlights included celebrating a milestone wedding anniversary, paying off our mortgage early (yay to being debt-free!) and of course my husband's big promotion.
