Olympics 2012

Hellooo shimmers,
Well the Olympics is underway in the UK. I thought the opening ceremony was fabulous and really represented the UK. I thought it was so good that up and coming athletes of the future got to light the last cauldron very inspiring for the next generation. Loved Loved Loved the James Bond feat. The Queen extravaganza!! And an appearance from the one and only Mr Bean :)
I love watching what all the countries wear when they do the parade some of them had gorgeous outfits and I though team GB looked very crisp and clean in their white and gold. I love how there was a big controversy because of a random lady that had tagged along with the Indian team turns out she was part of the cast for the opening ceremony! LoL!
Only one mess up so far... Showing the wrong Korean flag #epicfail!!!
Medal hopes for team GB?...48... Well ... Good luck. We didn't get of to the best of starts Cavendish unable to produce a medal. But day two brought two medals; bronze for Rebecca Adlington in 400m freestyle and silver for Lizzie in the women's road race, congratulations to them.
Ands day three brought 5 bronze medals... Well it only counts as one... The 5 boys from the team GB gymnastic team came 3rd, .2 of a silver well done to them they definitely deserved it and another diss appointment as Tom Daley and Peter Waterfield were unable to get a medal n the synchronised diving.
I think there has been to much pressure put on the athletes to perform and achieve and the other countries are really going against us especially in the men's road race.
I'm looking forward to the athletics it's always exciting. I wish I had tickets but looking at the empty seats in some of the events maybe I'll get a seat for the athletics!... Some how... I think it is terrible that there are so many empty seats when hundreds if not thousands were unable to get seats? It's shocking...
Aren't we all glad the weather is a little better!! I am, and long may it continue.
