There’s no Toon like an old Toon.
There are certain cartoons that act as a kind of backdrop to every childhood. Depending on your age, you might have gone to bed humming the theme from He-Man & the Masters of the Universe, or you might have worn a Dangermouse t-shirt. Maybe you are STILL watching Scooby Doo in its third generation format (they should really never have changed that song, by the way).
Personally, my own childhood was animated by the following top ten classics:-
1. Mr Magoo
2. Inspector Gadget
3. Tom and Jerry
4. Yogi Bear
5. Captain Caveman
6. The Hair Bear Bunch
7. Top Cat
8. Whacky Races
9. The Flintstones
10. Hong Kong Phooey
What were the Toons you grew up with? Are any of them still going today? Can you still recite the catch phrases, or do you find yourself referencing jokes about myopia that your kids don’t understand?!
