It’s that time again! Delphi, Indiana pulls out all the stops for a two day holiday extravaganza–with FREE admission!

Christmas at the Canal is a magical combination of food, crafts, music, history, and fun.

Old Fashioned Christmas

For the past 25 years, Delphi residents and folks in the know flock to the same town for a taste of Christmas from the mid-1800s canal era.

Blacksmiths are hard at work in their shop. Broom makers get to work. The basket maker will do demonstrations. Local crafters will have a plethora of items for sale including alpaca products, soaps, salsa, wooden toys, and much, much more!

Everyone may roam the area, browsing the period craftspeople, the historic cabins open for walkthroughs, or, weather permitting, join Canal Association president Dan McCain on a narrated tour of the Pioneer Village and the Canal Park trails at 2 PM.

Delphi, Indiana Christmas Event

Don’t miss the Reed Case House! Gleaming in period decor, it’s a festive addition to the day’s line-up!

Music includes fitting selections from Tom Bagues from 10 AM – 12 PM, Julie Dennison and Kandi Magner as Irish Eyes from 12 PM-1 PM, and Howie Clark from 1 PM – 3 PM. On Sunday Paula Dillard entertains from 1 PM – 3 PM.

Of course, no holiday event would be complete without a visit from the man in the red suit! Santa Claus will be at the Interpretive Center on both days of the festival from 1 PM – 3 PM.
