Well Frozen seems to be the latest craze in cakes this year, so here is my version! initially I was going to make the summer theme, but I think the Winter theme gives it more of the Frozen effect.
I actually really enjoyed making this cake ( Unlike the Minecraft Fail)

This is such a universal cake either for a boy or girl – as my son loved it too!

Due March birthdays, I added in some Easter eggs into the middle of the cake to add a little extra Easter-ness!
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-WVSTbI.jpeg)
Ingredients
9oz margarine
9oz Oil
9 Eggs
18oz Caster Sugar
18oz self-raising flour
2oz cocoa
4 tsp baking powder
3 tsp vanilla
200g Butter
1kg Icing Sugar
1 Tbsp Vanilla
3 Tbsp Milk
40g Micro Eggs
Fondant Icing

Add margarine, oil, eggs, sugar, self-raising flour, cocoa, baking powder and vanilla into a mixing bowl.
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-vfgXkA.jpeg)
Using the all in one method mix for about 2-3 minutes
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-KK6dBK.jpeg)
Pour half into a 11 inch greased cake tin
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-wlGkNi.jpeg)
Bake for 45-50 minutes at 170c, remove from the cake tin and allow to cool completely. Can re-grease the cake tin and fill with remaining batter and bake the second cake ( Unless you have 2 large cake tins which can be baked together)

While the cakes are cooling mix together the butter, milk, vanilla and icing sugar for the butter cream
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-uBoMcp.jpeg)
Once completely cooled, lay the first cake upside down on a plate or board.
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-rRripM.jpeg)
Spread a generous layer of butter cream over the cake
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-9ut5su.jpeg)
Sprinkle on roughly chopped micro eggs on to the butter cream.
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-I9lmZ_.jpeg)
Add a little more butter cream and swirl and level.
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-asxAsN.jpeg)
Place the second cake on, again upside down as this helps the cake have a level top when adding the sugar paste/ fondant icing.
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-dyljhU.jpeg)
Cover the cake with butter cream icing all over.
![Olaf Frozen Cake Olaf Frozen Cake](http://m5.paperblog.com/i/119/1191685/olaf-frozen-cake-L-yXmqNx.jpeg)
Colour some fondant icing blue and cover the entire cake, smoothing as you go.

Roll out white icing relatively thick, then using a flower cutter cut out a flower shape. When roll the flower shape out again to give the curved cloudy effect. Using water stick 3-4 white sections making the top section large enough to place on top.

Now the fun bit – making Olaf, roll out feet, lower body and upper body.

Then roll out the head, adding the mouth, teeth, nose, eyes, eye brows and hair. Allow to dry for about 10 minutes before putting the snow man together.

Using a few cocktail sticks to help secure Olaf, peice him together.

Add some trees and decoration and hopefully your little angel will love it!
