Ol’ Glory Barley Wine – Half Pints Brewing

By Mike @mikescraftbeer

From Winnipeg Manitoba's Half Pints Brewing Company comes their one off beer "Ol' Glory Barley Wine". The beer pours a orange\brown colour with an off white head. The aroma consists of malts, dark fruits, sweetness, toffee and some alcohol. The flavour is of toffee, candied sugar, sweetness, dark fruits, bitterness and alcohol. The alcohol content comes in at 9.6% with and IBU of 75. This Barley Wine was pretty good but it was not quite as good as Burly Wine.
