I am in love with using products containing Honey! Aside from using Honey in it's purest form in food and water etc I have also been using it in skincare and ever haircare.
The thing about Honey is that it is a natural product and is full of dozens of health benefits. It is known to improve allergies, helps to soothe a sore throat, helps with brain and memory function and even treats wounds and burns.the other great thing about honey is that it smells amazing and feels even more amazing on your skin.
I have been using the Nspa Honey Rich Body Butter for about a month or so now and it smells amazing. The tub says it is a runny formula but it hasn't. It'sa thick creamy consistency that is very much a body butter. In terms of how it feels on my skin, this is super moisturizing and smells incredible. I could literally smell myself all day long haha! that's not weird at all is it?
I've also been getting lots of bites and horrible little surface spots on my skin from living in the countryside and having barley flies in the area (lovely huh!?) and so have been using a good hydrating mask. I've been loving this one from Montagne Jeunesse whic is a Manuka Honey peel off one. I leave this on my skin until it feels dry and non-tacky on the skin before peeling it off. There's something strangely satisfying about peeling off a face mask, or maybe that's just me?
Finally, I have been using the Garnier Honey Blends shampoo which not only smells amazing but it makes my hair shine and feel protected. I hardly loose any hair when I have washed my hair since I have started using this (in comparison to loosing about a brushful previously!) and my hair feels clean and shiny after every wash. I have gone through three bottles of this stuff and would be devastated if they ever discontinued it.
What honey products have you used and loved? I tried a burt's bee's lip balm and loved it... AND LOST IT! I can't find anywhere to buy it so if you see it, Holla at me!
