This picture was in my FB news feed. I'm not sure what the lie might have been. Did someone in the Administration say that, within a year of the roll out of Obamacare, the number of uninsured Americans would go from more than 50 million to zero?
Actually, the number of people who have signed up exceeds the CBO's expectations, and the percentage of Americans without health insurance is declining. You can look it up. The number would be shrinking faster if several Republican governors had not opted out of the Medicaid expansion provision, thereby preventing qualifying citizens of those states from gaining access.
I continue to be puzzled by all the Americans who seem genuinely angered by the prospect of their fellow citizens at last being able to get affordable health insurance.
