[NYFW 2012] Marc by Marc Jacobs

Below the knee skirts with so many textures, felt to velvet to mesh to metallic finishes in patterns that varied from plaid to floral print to bold prints that remained somewhat muted and solid bright colours that walked to their own beat.  
What was clear from this collection was the juxtaposition of feminine with grunge, the use of feminine fabrics, colours and prints mixed with a masculine military caps, grunge lace up militaryesk boots!!!
