NYC New York Color recently came off with their own peel off base coat and I knew that I wanted to try this one. Check out the full release for Strip Me Off HERE.
The instructions with this one are super simple too!
Step 1: Apply Strip Me Off base coat to clean nails.
Step 2: Wait for the base coat to dry. You will know its dry when it becomes transparent. Then simple apply you nail polish.
Step 3: When you're ready to remove your polish, simply peel it off.
Here you can see what my nails looked like once I peeled off the polish. Almost 100% of it was gone.
I had a couple remaining glitters on my pointer finger for some reason, but generally all the polish was gone!
I like this as a base coat but wanted to also try it around my nails as a protector in messy nail looks. Remember the Tom Ford look that I did last week (HERE). I used Strip Me Off Base Coat around my nails before I sponged on the gold and silver.
It worked PERFECT for this and although it's not exactly how it's marketed I will definitely be using it to save time on clean up around my nails again in the future for nail art looks.
This base coat costs $2.99 and is definitely worth it! I would recommend everyone pick up a bottle for themselves to use as a base coat or as a protector!
