NUDESTIX Concealer Pencil – Review

By Triedandtestedblogger @triedtestedblog

Nudestix was a brand I was really excited to try after hearing that the brand would be stocked here in Sephora. The philosophy behind the brand is very much centered around quick and easy to use products that enhances one’s beauty.

nudestix concealer pencil light 3 review swatchComing in pencil form and packaged in a tin with a full size mirror on the inside of the lid, each pencil also comes with a cap and sharpener for easy application, wherever you are! I really love the concept of these products as you’re able to fill the tin up with quite a few products and take them with you for touch ups throughout the day.

A soft, matte cream concealer pencil that offers excellent, long wearing, blendable coverage of under eye darkness, blemishes, marks and spots. Contains skin conditioning and moisturizing ingredients such as Shea butter and Vitamin E. These fun and sassy touch n’go makeup stix provide a quick and easy ‘nude look, but better’ for all faces in all places.

I received the Nudestix Concealer Pencil in a goodie bag and luckily this shade does work well with my skin tone! The actual product has a great creamy formula which glides onto the skin and can be blended out well. I found it best to use my ring finger to pat the product out because as the formula is so creamy and has some slip to it, using a brush will just sweep away the coverage. I also preferred using a couple of light layers and building up the coverage as opposed to one thick layer as it does have a tendency to cake up if you aren’t careful.

This concealer provides a very light, natural coverage that needs to be set with powder to increase its longevity so I wouldn’t recommend it to those looking for a heavy duty concealer to hide spots or really dark circles for a full day but if you’re looking for something easy and lightweight to use to gently even out your skin tone then it is worth swatching next time you’re in store.

However, personally I was a bit disappointed with this product though I do still really want to try their eye shadow pencils as I’ve heard some rave reviews!

Have you tried anything from the Nudestix brand?
