Now That I’m Older

Posted on the 21 February 2013 by George @ledonvinton

While I was younger I dreamed of my own place where everything just as I wanted, now that I’m older I’m still dreaming of that place but with a killer view of bright city lights.

While I was younger I dreamed of being a soldier, DJ, entrepreneur, marketer, accountant, film director, film producer, scriptwriter, video game producer, an artist and a chef.  Now that I’m older I still think there’s a chance I could still pull it off.

While I was younger my dad gave me a book to read about money or more importantly about assets and I knew I was going to be wealthy.  Now that I’m older I’m still not wealthy, doing a lot of persevering but I know it’s going to happen.

While I was younger I was terrible at maths and not the greatest student.  Now that I’m older I’ve learnt that if I want to be president, I can.

While I was younger I was very shy and often timid.  Now that I’m older I’m still shy but learning that confidence can open any locked door.

While I was younger I humiliated myself by getting rejected by so many girls and learning from each experience.  Now that I’m older I know that I’m definitely one of a kind.  I can get any girl I want and if I didn’t get her then it’s her loss.

While I was younger I never understood what love meant, Now that I’m older I understand what it means but I’ve realised instead that not everyone does even when they think they do.

While I was younger I the one thing I always wanted in life was to be always happy.  Now that I’m older, I hadn’t thought about being happy until writing this.

For right now…… dream big, do everything to your best including work, make use of every moment, have fun, love and smile, inspire yourself and always be motivated.  Forget about worrying about tomorrow; just plant the good seeds today.
