Changes to Saturday and Sunday service include:
– Southbound Antelope Valley Line train 26 will arrive at L.A. Union Station 20 minutes earlier at 11:00 a.m. instead of 11:20 a.m. so riders can connect to southbound Amtrak train 572 which departs L.A. Union Station at 11:15 am. This will allow riders to arrive in Oceanside more than an hour earlier.
– Southbound Antelope Valley Line train 266 will arrive at L.A. Union Station 20 minutes earlier at 2:40 p.m. instead of 3:00 p.m. so riders can connect to southbound Amtrak train 580 which departs L.A. Union Station at 3:00 p.m. This will allow riders to arrive more than an hour early in Oceanside.
– Southbound Antelope Valley Line train 268 will arrive at L.A. Union Station 50 minutes earlier at 4:30 p.m. instead of 5:30 p.m. so riders can connect to Amtrak train 784, which departs L.A. Union Station at 5:10 p.m. This will allow riders to arrive in Oceanside more than two hours earlier.
– Northbound Antelope Valley Line trains 261, 263, 265 will depart 10-15 minutes earlier to allow better connections for riders transferring to the Antelope Valley Line from the Orange County and San Bernardino lines. Amtrak riders will also benefit from the reduced wait times.
