A rare P-51H taxies in to participate in the Pacific Coast Dreams Machines Show.  Sharp-eyed warbird fans can spot the various differences between this and the classic D-model (tall tail, smaller main wheels, fuselage shape, etc).  The H model was the ultimate Mustang to roll off the assembly line, although it came too late to see any combat. The use of a lightened structure (600 lbs lighter), combined with an uprated Packard engine, made this one hot fighter with a top speed of over 480 mph. By the end of the war, only 555 P-51Hs had rolled off the production lines in Inglewood. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm.
