The Commemorative Air Force’s P-51 Mustang “Man o War” departs Half Moon Bay after static display during the Pacific Coast Dream Machines Show.  This warbird wears the colors of the original “Man O’ War” flown by Lt. Col Claiborn Kinnard Jr of the 334FS, 4FG.  More than 8100 of the D-model were produced, contributing to the total of 15,000 Mustangs built for the war. After World War II, the P-51 Mustang served in the air forces of over 55 countries. Nikon D300 w/300mm.
