I love the classic lines of the Super Sabre and was surprised to find one in Paris.  The first of the Century Series of USAF jet fighters, the F-100 was the first USAF fighter capable of supersonic speed in level flight.  The Armee de l’Air (French Air Force) was the first foreign air force to receive the Super Sabre, used in service from 1959-1978.  Eventually 85 F-100Ds and 15 F-100Fs were supplied to France.  Replaced in service by Jaguars, Armee de l’Air Super Sabres were returned to American control and flown to Great Britain for storage and eventual scrapping.   Nikon D500 w/18-200mm.
