Nokia’s Lumia series seems to be never ending, just like Samsung’s Galaxy lineup. Today, Nokia officially took the wraps-off of their next big, “accessibly priced” Windows Phone 8 smartphone, Lumia 625. This phone comes with a huge 4.7-inch LCD screen. But the 4G Internet access seems to be the main selling point of this device.
“With our largest smartphone screen to date, the Nokia Lumia 625 is a perfect example of how Nokia is delivering leading smartphone innovation and experiences at every price point,” said Jo Harlow, executive vice president, Nokia Smart Devices.
On the inside of this big and affordable smartphone, there’s 1.2GHz Dual Core chip and 512MB of RAM powering it up and has 8GB of internal storage with support for up to 64GB SD card. 5MP camera on the back is capable of shooting 1080p@30fps videos. The affordability of the deice and these specs will definitely make this phone stand out from the WP crowd.
Nokia Lumia 625 will head out in Q3 2013 in a set of color options to choose from including orange, yellow, bright green, white, black and with a price tag of 220 euros, that’s about $290 USD.
