Producer Noah “40” Shebib discusses Drake’s upcoming album ‘Views From the Six.” Noah mentions that the West Coast has been instrumental in the LP’s creative process. ‘Views from the 6’ will debut sometime in April, according to Drake, and 40 claims they’re almost done with it.“We’re getting very, very close and the time will come, I think, when Drake’s ready to pull that trigger,” Shebib said.
Noah also mention how the album is based around Drake’s hometown. “It’s just the balance of finding that space to make such a project that’s based around our city and then also we coming out here to the West Coast to escape some of that harsh winter and find a good creative space,” 40 told Cypress Hill’s B-Real during a “Smokebox” interview. “It has to be a balance of both of those locations though, for what it’s supposed to be.”
