First of all, I’d like to make this an opportunity to wish you all a very happy new year. I hope you guys will have a fantastic year ahead. Now to mark my first article in 2013, I’ve decided to tell you guys about a very good news. I know most of you may be getting really annoyed everyday by all the game requests that you receive from your Facebook friends, because I know I do. Well, now you will have less of those requests popping up on your Facebook notifications as the popular game developer, Zynga has decided to shut down 11 of its’ most popular FB games.

Games including PetVille,  Mafia Wars 2, FishVille, Vampire Wars, Treasure Isle, Indiana Jones Adventure World, Mafia Wars Shakedown, Forestville, Montopia, Mojitomo, and Word Scramble Challenge are on this list of removal. According to the report from TechCrunch, this reduction of games has been made in order to get the falling company ‘back on track’. And Zynga already have other plans to layoff employees and shut down offices to reduce expenses as well.

Surely, this is not the best news for all the addicted players of these Facebook games. But, I’m sure that rest of the people who always get’s annoyed by these games will appreciate this as much as I do.
