Nissan’s Self-Cleaning Car Uses Old Tech, But It’s Awesome

Actually, there’s nothing special about this vehicle itself. Nissan is basically planning to use a super-hydrophobic and oleophobic paint coating to make the vehicle’s body repel any kind of liquid that falls upon it. Sort of like those smartphones that came out earlier this year with liquid repellent coating.

These kind of vehicle coating are already available in the market, which you can get at an affordable cost and apply over your vehicle to make it self-cleaning. Although, according to Business Insider, this is the first time for a vehicle manufacturer to officially use it on their vehicles.
