Nikki!

By Dena13
I would like to say a huge thank you to Krista Smith for offering this cutie for free one day over the holidays.  She is so adorable and I wanted to hurry and get her colored up before the winter was over.  She is now only $2 in her shop!!!!
Nikki!
I saw Iris's creation using her the other day with copics and knew I had to try it!!!!! Please give her a shout on her blog, her coloring is AMAZING!!!  Anyhow, this was inspired by her coloring of this sweetie!
It is one of my New Year's resolutions to try and get better at copics.  I think they are so difficult.  I adore my distress inks, but you get a certain look that I love with copics, so I better get practicing and plus I have quite a huge fortune tied up in the markers for them to just sit there haha!
Nikki! This image is too adorable as are all of Krista Smith's characters.  Love the eyes and lips and she always makes the BEST hair on her girls not to mention the super fab clothes.
BTW, this took forever for me to color.  I could have colored this in half the time with distress inks.  I assume you get faster as you get more accustomed to the coloring?

Thank you all for the encouragement and support of my blog!  I am trying my best to come and visit, but sometimes blogger is getting hung up and not load the page so I can't leave a message or see anything.  Does anyone have any ideas if it is my computer or something else?  Big hugs to you all!!!!
