Last year I mentioned the name Nick D’Aloisio in an article named 16 Year Old Boy Genius, a teen from South London who invented a brilliant new app named ’Summly’ that summarize web pages and search results. Now, all his hard work has finally paid off as he’s become a millionaire by selling his creation to Yahoo for $30 million and got himself a job at the company as well.

Nick is now known as one of the youngest self-made millionaires in the world. He has been learning to code since he was 12-years-old and it only took him 3 years to come up with the idea for Summly. He is also very confident about selling the app for Yahoo and seems to be very happy to work with the company “Yahoo has a strong focus on mobile and product, and that’s the perfect fit for Summly”, he said.

Hope this young genius would come up with more great inventions soon. We could actually use some more Nick’s in the current world of technology and I think it’s safe to say that the future is looking bright for young geeks.
