Ney from Rochester to UC Davis

Alyssa Ney (philosophy of mind, metaphysics, philosophy of physics), Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Rochester, has accepted a senior offer from the Department of Philosophy at UC Davis, where she will start this fall. Apart from adding significantly to existing strengths in the philosophy of mind and philosophy of science at UC Davis, this hire is also another major coup for philosophy of physics in California (though sadly not in *Southern* California).
