It’s official, the flood gates have opened and those stores who took orders for the Nexus 7 tablet, announced at Google IO, can now ship them to customers. Ebuyer customers are receiving them today, as it seems are a few Nexus pre-orders from other stores. But if you ordered from Google, well, tough luck so far.
Thats right, if you pre-ordered from Google it’s not shipping (yet).
There is no official word yet, but our friends at AndroidSpin have heard that the delay is due to shipping limitations with UPS. The good news is that the pre-orders from Google are now believed to be almost ready to ship, they are being programmed with users information (an advantage to getting it from Google directly) and our best guess based on the grapevine is that we will see them arriving tomorrow or Monday in the UK.
We’ll report more as we get it.
If you’ve received your Nexus 7, what do you think of it? Do you agree with other reviews that it is the best Android experience yet? Is it far superior to the iPad and Kindle? Let us know, leave a comment below.
