I guess off-the-reservation conservative David Frum has gotten into trouble for tweeting that toddlers concealing and carrying isn't a solution. He was trying to point out how ridiculous the right-wing is about guns, and offended those who think either (1) this is not the time to display your wit, or (2) it's never the time to suggest we need more gun laws. I suspect (2) is more prevalent. Here is John Hinderaker on the day after the massacre:

Yes, it would be absurd to arm the first graders. Arm their teachers! The solution, ever and always, is: more guns. Frum should know by now that you can't make fun of these guys. They're always a step ahead of you.
