Another one of my favorite places to go in New York is Yankee Stadium located in the Bronx. Unless you are completely tuned out to the world of sports, you would know that the New York Yankees are the most popular team associated with New York. But don't let this post fool you, this actually has nothing to do with the New York Yankees (give me a few weeks & I'm sure I'll get to them soon)!On Tuesday night I went to a soccer game held at Yankee Stadium! This is the second game I've been to, and it was Spain vs. Ireland...um hello can you say GORGEOUS MEN RUNNING AROUND A FIELD ALL SWEATY? I thought so.

Now in my opinion, Yankee Stadium is really only suited for baseball games but this experience was still great. It was an entertaining game and of course things are always better when you're in good company! Now as much as I praise this place, there are some downfalls. The prices of almost everything! However, that's not unexpected when you go to a place like this. So make sure you bring your cash for food, beers and even the yard stick margaritas and daiquiris they serve at the food court (my favorite part of Yankee Stadium)!
Tickets for a game like this are expensive versus the five dollars you can probably find for a regular season baseball game, but as I've said..this is no ordinary experience. You may pay a bit for your ticket, food and some drinks but it really is all worth it! And the end of the night you'll be leaving the stadium with a bunch of other fun people screaming and chanting and you can't really ask for more than that!
