Hope and Life Press is pleased to announce the release of by the Reverend Andrew Highway, an assistant curate with the Diocese of Llandaff, the Church in Wales, and author of the popular devotional Life's Complicated: Pray Simply. Seasons of Prayer, which is endorsed by the Archbishop of Wales, contains 72 'everyday' prayers through which the natural seasons are explored and it shows how these can relate to the seasons of prayer we experience in our spiritual lives. Each season begins with a short introduction to the natural season and is followed by a reflection on the spiritual season. Within the section are a series of simple prayers that correspond to either the spiritual season or the natural one. There is also a section on the Seven Gateways to Prayer, to help us enter into prayer at those times when we find it difficult. The prayers are very accessible and will appeal to those who would describe themselves as spiritual, but not necessarily religious, as well those who already belong to a church. Seasons of Prayer is available in paperback and ebook editions from Amazon, major booksellers and directly from the publishers.
