The mascara promises to lengthen your lashes and condition them whilst giving a cooling sensation upon application. Obviously this is a lot to live up to so I was quite skeptical (as I always am!).
I always end up going for a high end mascara because I know which ones work well for me - one thing I need in my life is blacker than black volumised lashes. At just £7.99, this would definitely be a lot more purse friendly if it lives up to it's expectations, which begs the question, does it fill the boots of others?
YES! I really enjoyed using this! It smells of cucumber without being overpowering or making my eyes water which I was impressed with because normally mascara smells funny. I literally could not think of a better word than just 'funny' to describe that haha! Blogger fail!
In terms of lengthening, this definitely lengthens my short lashes and gives me good lift without needing to use a lash curler which I am all for! I think this is down to the fact that the mascara wand is designed to fit your lashes instead of being one straight line.
Two coats of this and it's just as good as some of the other high end mascara's. That's a big claim to make, but it's the truth and my purse will forever be grateful to Rimmel.
This lasts a while on your lashes, doesn't flake off and it doesn't clump on your lashes as the day wears on. The only thing I am unsure of is how long it lasts and if it dries out (in terms of replacing it) but as always, I will update you on twitter (@hollysbeautybox)
