The freestyle BMX original meets the Original Skate Shoe Company

Celebrating more than 30 years of innovation, Haro Bikes champions an iconic heritage in BMX product design. With the introduction of its first top-of-the-line Freestyle BMX bike in the early 80s, Haro ignited a revolution in the growing sport of Freestyle, paving the way for radical tricks and inventive style. Today, Haro’s classic designs continue to inspire, cementing its reputation as a true original.
This fall, Vans and Haro join forces to commemorate a history of design heritage and originality within BMX. Inspired by the first freestyle BMX frame, better known as the “Haro Original Freestyler,” Vans delivers a memorable collection of apparel, footwear and accessories complete with Haro accents and colorways.
The Vans x Haro apparel collection includes a retro long sleeve t-shirt and technical racing pant emblazoned with the unforgettable blue, green, and white racing stripes, in addition to two custom Vans x Haro logo tees and accessories. The collection is also featured in the Vans Classics footwear line, with a blue checkerboard printed Sk8-Hi and green checkerboard Era.
Once worn by freestyle BMX riders in the 80’s, the original Vans Era and Sk8-Hi Reissue are dedicated to the Vans x Haro pack. Both styles feature Vans’ classic checkerboard print popular among BMX athletes along with Haro’s signature green and blue colors that are taken directly from Haro’s bike.
