Let's do this!
Artist: The Glorious Sons
Hometown: Kingston, ON
Genre: Rock
Related: The Headstones, The Trews, Monster Truck
Song: Runaway (Kanye West Cover) *Explicit
Notes: I had to go find the original because it wasn't at all on my radar. I love this version and I love this video treatment. The backdrop is warm and interesting to look at and it makes me wish I could hang out there all day. The stripped-down piano and guitar work perfectly, and the vocals sound so pretty while still delivering the message. It's believable.

Single: Mr. Nobody (with Tom Cochrane)
Notes: We've been telling you about this band for some time and we're not the only ones who think they're pretty awesome. Tom Cochrane thinks they're pretty cool too. There is a short video of Tom singing with the band and you can see that here.

Artist: Royce Lovett

Song: Up For Love
Notes: The video is a very sweet Nashville Session brought to us by Motown Gospel. It's simple and the message is clear, Royce is up for love. The chorus is stuck in my head and I want to be up for love. Listen to it, and then listen to it again.

Artist: Acid Test
Hometown: N/A
Genre: Alternative
Related Artists: Wild T. and the Spirit, Slik Toxic, Look People
Song: Slipping Away
Notes: Off the scene for some years, Acid Test is back with a new song and a new sound. Let's let the band tell you about the video "Slipping Away is a really good example of our collaboration, musically and lyrically. It is, in many ways, biographical as it talks about some of the things that happened to us as a band back in the day. But we're also saying, 'hey, we're here, we're back, screw you, we're going to do something amazing.' So it's a real attitude song" said, Di Santo.
