Ready? Let's go!

Artist: James Barker Band
Hometown: Woodville, ON
Genre: Country
Related Artists: Jordan Davis, Ryan Hurd, LANCO
Song: Summer Time
Notes: After a run of 75 live stream shows during the COVID-19 pandemic, James Barker Band are here with a brand new single for country music fans. Summer Time is perfectly timed for the sunshine season and it works. The boys are in fine form with this one, and while we can't be with them for a live performance in person, we that folks are going to be singing along at home to this one before long, pretending they were in the front row.

Artist: Tebey
Hometown: Peterborough, ON
Genre: Country
Related Artists: Aaron Goodvin, Meghan Patrick, Matt Lang
Song: Happened On A Saturday Night
Notes: Tebey is a hell of a songwriter and storyteller and he's back with Happened On A Saturday Night to show it. You could be from a small town or a big city and there's a good chance that you're going to hear part of your own story when you listen to this song. And that's why it's a winner. It's for everyone. Tebey continues to push forward with his sound and vision and ambition, and if he keeps pumping out jams like Happened On A Saturday Night, we're here for it.

Artist: Margo Price
Hometown: Aledo, IL
Genre: Country
Related Artists: Whitney Rose, Sarah Shook & the Disarmers, Amanda Shires
Song: Letting Me Down
Notes: Margo Price's new album, That's How Rumors Get Started, was scheduled for release on May 1, 2020 - but in the midst of the pandemic, was rescheduled for July 10. But, to get us through the next few weeks, we do get Letting Me Down. It's a shame that Price doesn't get more mainstream love for her work - and we hope that changes with Letting Me Down and That's How Rumors Get Started. It's good. She's great. And this is country music worth celebrating.

Artist: Hunter Brothers
Hometown: Shaunavon, SK
Genre: Country
Related Artists: Washboard Union, The Reklaws, Jojo Mason
Song: Hard Dirt
Notes: Hunter Brothers have the tightest harmonies in Canadian country music, and on Hard Dirt they pair them with great lyrics and the production of Hunter Hayes. The song has been dedicated to frontline workers and everyone affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and is an ode to hard work, perseverance and everyone who has reached down for something extra when times got tough.

When talking about the song, Ty Hunter said, "Hard Dirt is a song that speaks to the process of enduring struggle, but also knowing that hope exists on the other side of whatever circumstances you may be going through. Embracing challenge can be a painful process, but it can help us develop endurance, patience, and ultimately lead us to be a better version of ourselves. As brothers, our hope is that this song will uplift hearts, reawaken dreams, and encourage us all to keep growing as individuals, families, and communities."

Artist: Texas Hill
Hometown: Various, USA
Genre: Country
Related Artists: Eagles, Anderson East, Craig Wayne Boyd, Adam Wakefield, Casey James
Song: Darkest Sky
Notes: Following its debut on Billboard.com, Texas Hill's debut single, Darkest Sky is now available far and wide. The song is heavy on Eagles-like harmonies and is a very strong first release from the trio. If you're in the mood for a ballad that has the power to hit you hard if you're willing to let it, Darkest Sky is right here for you.
